I gave this as a gift and it was received with a big smile. It is beautiful. The only drawback is how difficult the clasp is to figure out for the first time. But once that is done, it is easy to put on and off and keeps beautiful time.

I bought this Chopard 27/6150-21 watch for my fiance for Christmas because he has always wanted a sterling silver pocket watch, that wasn't full of goofy pictures or looked like he was a hunter. He thought it was very elegant yet manly at the same time. He uses it almost everyday!!!!

I have always been a fan of watches; quartz movements may be more accurate but they lack the alive; feel of a ticking watch. Durability also seems to be better with mechanical watches. I have a Tag Heuer that is over 35 years old and still runs reliably. This Chopard 168992-3003 42mm 50 meters / 165 feet Water Resistant Watch is well made and feels solid to the touch,
