The Luminor 1950 8 days Chrono Monopulsante GMT, as its long name indicates is a dual time chronograph watch. It has hour, minute, second time zone and a seconds hand on the main dial. It has a thirty minute counter on a sub-dial at 3 o'clock and day-night indicator and sixty second counter in a sub-dial at the 9 o'clock position. At the 6 o'clock position there is a horizontal power reserve indicator. Few watches combine both dual time a chronograph functions. Flyback chronograph. The chronograph is features a flyback function. The standard chronograph, has two buttons, a start/stop button and a reset button. In order to restart the chronograph, you press the start/stop button to stop the current lap, press the reset button to bring the seconds hand back to zero and press the start/stop button again to restart the counter. With a flyback chronograph, you only have one button. To start and stop the counter you press the same button, and press the same button again to bring the seconds hand back to zero. It is useful in case you want to quickly restart the lap counter. Pressing the single button, and keeping it depress will stop the current timer, return the seconds hand to zero and restart the timer. Manifaturra.
